Mr. Clausen boasts over 20 years of experience in the Alberta Oil and Gas industry as a strategic financial leader. He has successfully transformed the financial and accounting functions of both small private and larger public companies. In 2022, he served as the CFO at Source Rock Royalty Ltd., a small-cap Canadian company that successfully completed a $13.8 million IPO. Throughout his career, he has negotiated and supported multiple international M&A deals. Mr. Clausen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Calgary. He earned his Chartered Accountant designation in 1999 and is currently a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta.
